Hi there! Let me just get straight to the point. I am not a feature writer, please bear with me āš¤
As a glamping owner or future glamping owner, we want to maximize the use of our glamping tents. One of the things that you should consider is having the tents at the top of a deck to prohibit water from sipping at the bottom of the tent and even prohibits the guests to enter the tents with mud on their feet.
The following are your options for the deck material, arranged from the most expensive to the least expensive one:
1. WPC Deck - The most expensive but requires less maintenance. No repaint needed.
2. Treated wooden planks - Requires waterproofing and repainting.
3. Palochina wood - Requires waterproofing and repainting.
You can support these using tubular steels.
Do I need a roof?
Honestly, YES, especially if your glamping site is in the Philippines where there are typhoons and lots of rain. The roof serves as your protection for both the glamping tent and the guest, that would even make them worry-free about going camping glamorously.
